About Sophia Pak
About me
Hello! My name is Sophia Pak and I am a current junior at Babson College!
I am South Korean but was born in Manhattan and raised in Westchester, New
York. I love New York City and think it is the greatest city in the world!
I have one sibling, an older brother named Davis. He is 23 and currently
lives in New York. Although mostly raised in Westchester, New York, I
lived in Houston, Texas for two years. I really enjoyed the warm weather
and making lifelong friends there. I hope to travel back soon to visit.
At Babson, I am concentrating in accounting and business analytics. I am
also a member of the Babson Softball team where I play outfield, a peer
mentor, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Last semester I also had the
amazing opportunity to study abroad in Milan, Italy! I enjoyed
travelling Europe and specfically enjoyed the Italian culture and
fashion of Milan This summer I will be interning at KPMG in New York in
their deal advisory practice specficially doing financial due dilligence
for both buy and sell side deal. I am super excited to intern in
Manhattan and work for KPMG for the second summer in a row.
My interests
My hobbies include runnning,
sudoku, traveling, and trying new foods. The next places I would love to visit
are the French Riviera and Japan. My favorite place I have ever visited is
Paris! Recently, I discovered turkish eggs and think they are delicious!
My favorite food is probably peaking duck. I spent my last summer in
Boston and enjoyed running everyday on the Charles River trail! In my
opinion, running outdoors is superior to the treadmill. I find running to
be freeing and an easy way to exercise while taking your mind off of
things!
